Along the way we will learn about winter hiking, the required equipment, procedures and techniques that a successful arctic trip requires. This trip is great for those with hiking experience looking to explore the backcountry in the winter.

Backcountry Ski Touring in the Fells
Pallas offers the best ski-touring terrain in Finland, our guides know the best places for free-skiing in these fells. On this trip we spend 3 nights in a cabin and spend 3 full days hunting the best ski lines in Pallas and the nearby fells. The trip is suitable for those with prior ski touring experience looking to explore the fells of Lapland or those with downhill skiing experience, but are new to backcountry ski-touring and who have good basic fitness.

3 days of exploring the stunning fells and forests of Lapland. Pallas offers great opportunities to get close to nature, to feel the untouched snow under your skis and enjoy magnificent arctic scenery and clean air. We go on a daily 4-6 hour relaxed trip to ski the most beautiful places in the Pallas-Ylläs Fells National Park. The trip is suitable for everyone with cross-country skiing experience and sufficient basic fitness.

Difficult Adventures: Requires experience and skill in the sport and good fitness, must be able to endure long, demanding days in demanding conditions.
